About Us

Our Story

Seraphiye was founded by me, Sarah Filippardos in 2021, after many years (definitely too many to count!) working as a Jewellery Buyer in London and New York, leading teams at some of the best-known names on the high street and in the jewellery industry.

I grew up surrounded by all things geological (my mum and dad were part of the Geology faculty at Imperial College), and I spent hours and hours mesmerized by the gemstone collections in the Natural History Museum and V&A next door. This fascination led to a deep and abiding love for me, of all things jewellery and gemstone-related.

People have asked me why I started my company, and that’s easy to answer.  I’ve always wanted to start a business doing something I love, and to do it on my own terms.  I’ve had a fantastic career with amazing experiences, but I started to realise in the last few years that I wasn’t happy working in big companies, where the numbers ultimately became more important than the people.

So, in 2020 the idea for Seraphiye started to take shape.

We are a female-led brand, creating beautiful, affordable jewellery for you to wear and love everyday. Our designs are exclusive, designed by our super-talented team here at Seraphiye, and made by some of the most brilliant and trusted artisans across the globe.

Our Team

Seraphiye is run by a team of truly dedicated and talented women, all of whom work flexibly and remotely to support the best work/life balance possible. We get together when we’re planning strategy, pooling our talents to deliver something creative like the new season photo campaign, travelling for inspiration, or visiting one of our factories to create new collections.  At Seraphiye, we have found that the best things come when the team are having fun AND working hard to deliver the results that everyone wants.

We really hope that this ethos is apparent in everything we do, and when you buy, wear and gift our jewellery you are part of that too.

Our Artisans and Makers

We only work with trusted and ethical suppliers, most of whom we’ve known and worked with for many years. Our jewellery is all crafted by artisans, using their hands, and myriad processes and stages of manufacture. Jewellery-making is one of the most fascinating and intricate processes there is, and our makers train for years, often using techniques and skills passed down through generations.

Our Packaging

Every piece of Seraphiye jewellery comes in a very beautiful navy and black velvet-lined jewellery gift box designed to store your jewellery and to help keep it safe and in the best condition possible.

Our packaging is sustainable – made to last and enjoy, using recycled and recyclable materials.
